ARE Professors Receive Graduate Mentoring Awards

ARE Associate Professor Steve Boucher and ARE Distinguished Professor Richard Sexton were selected as recipients of the Graduate Program Advising and Mentoring Award. The Graduate Program Advising and Mentoring Awards recognize faculty providing outstanding service in advising and mentoring at the program level. Boucher and Sexton were selected for this award due to their excellent service to the ARE graduate program, as well as their positive impact on graduate students and their colleagues.
Additionally, ARE Professor and Chair Rachael Goodhue was selected as one of the 2022 recipients of the Graduate Studies Distinguished Graduate and Postdoctoral Mentoring Award. These awards are offered to faculty to recognize the vital role mentoring plays in the academic and professional development of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars at the University of California, Davis.
Mentorship plays a critical role in graduate student success and well-being. The efforts of Boucher, Goodhue, and Sexton exemplify outstanding service in mentorship and their contributions are well recognized. Congratulations on their outstanding investments in mentoring and well-deserved awards!
