ARE Ph.D. Graduates Celebrate Virtual 2021 Graduation Ceremony

On Tuesday, June 15th, 2021, ARE celebrated the accomplishments of its 10 new Ph.D graduates with a virtual ceremony. Professor Steve Boucher kicked off the event by welcoming the graduates, their families, and their friends. Each students' dissertation advisor then spoke about the accomplishments of their students. Although we were disappointed that students did not have the opportunity for the traditional "walk" and "handshake" with the provost and in-person celebrations, we were thrilled to be able to come together virtually to meet family and friends and share our collective joy with these amazing grads.
