ARE Distinguished Professor Colin Carter and Co-Author’s Research Cited in Recent GAO Study of USDA Market Facilitation Program

Partly based on the research of Carter and co-author Sandro Steinbach, the GAO found that the USDA over-compensated some U.S. midwestern farmers by billions of dollars for economic losses associated with the U.S.-China trade war.
