Gerardo Aragon: Associate Professor at University of Monterrey

After completing his Ph.D., Gerardo Aragon will join the business division of the University of Monterrey (Mexico) in September 2018 as an associate professor. Gerardo's teaching and research will focus on applied microeconomics and environmental economics with an emphasis on inequality. In his dissertation, Distributional Effects of Environmental Regulation in Developing Countries, Gerardo documents heterogeneous effects of transportation policies across income groups and zones in Mexico City. Gerardo's dissertation committee chair is ARE Associate Professor Katrina Jessoe. ARE Assistant Professor Kevin Novan and ARE Professor Aaron Smith are also on his dissertation committee.
