Kajal Gulati: Research Associate at IMPAQ International
May 16, 2017
Kajal Gulati will join IMPAQ International as a research associate in their labor division. Kajal’s research is at the intersection of agricultural mechanization and gendered labor markets. Her dissertation examines technology diffusion via three channels of information dissemination in India: intrahousehold exchanges between women and men, information dispersion across households through gendered social networks, and information flows across villages after an experimental exposure to the technology. Her dissertation chair is Travis Lybbert and other committee members are Michael Carter and Ashish Shenoy. Kajal is excited about moving to Oakland and pursuing impact evaluation research for domestic and international programs.
