Wenbo Zou: Nankai Experimental Economics Laboratory at Nankai University
March 3, 2016
Wenbo Zou has accepted a position as an assistant professor in the Nankai Experimental Economics Laboratory at Nankai University. The lab is a joint partnership of the Institute of State Economy at Nankai University with the Experimental Economics Program at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. As a newly founded lab, its objective is to contribute to our understanding of human behavior and organization in the real society from the lens of lab and field experiments. Wenbo's dissertation falls into this research line, in which she conducts a lab-in-the-field experiment in Burkina Faso between spouses, and investigates the intrahousehold productive efficiency, as well as households' investment in early childhood nutrition, by linking the experimental behavior to household survey data. Her dissertation committee members are Michael Carter (co-chair), Travis Lybbert (co-chair) and Pierre Mérel.
