Position Available: Assistant Professor of Econometrics

We seek an economist to join our department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE) as an assistant professor. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a research program in econometrics. ARE economists research issues related to the environment, agriculture, natural resources, and international economic development; the ideal candidate would have an applied interest in these topics or in a closely related field.
Teaching responsibilities include 2-3 quarter-length courses per year including econometrics courses in at both undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the appointee is expected to conduct mission-oriented research and outreach of relevance to the California Agricultural Experiment Station (AES).
