Kate Fuller: Montana State University

Kate Fuller will join the faculty of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Economics at Montana State University. She will begin her position as an assistant professor/extension specialist on July 1, 2014. Kate’s research interests include agricultural pests and diseases and agricultural research and development. Her thesis title is "The Economics of Pierce's Disease in the California Winegrape Industry," and her dissertation co-chairs are Julian Alston and Jim Sanchirico. As a post-doctoral researcher, Kate co-authored a paper, "Assessing the returns to R&D on perennial crops: the costs and benefits of Pierce's disease research in the California winegrape industry."
