Andrés Moya: University of Los Andes

Andrés Moya will join the faculty in the Department of Economics at the University of Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia next fall. Andrés is a development economist whose research brings together behavioral economics, psychology, and econometrics to analyze poverty and inequality. In his dissertation, Andrés draws upon research in social and cognitive psychology to analyze the behavioral consequences of violence in Colombia and it's implications on the formation of chronic poverty.
